Charlotte, NC – On behalf of the RSPA community, we want to thank Worldpay for their generous contribution to the RSPA Scholarship Program.
The RSPA has awarded more than $2 million to families of RSPA reseller member companies and that tradition continues today. We encourage employees of all reseller members (and their families) to apply for a scholarship to help ease the costs associated with higher education.
For the 2018-2019 school year, the RSPA awarded 72 applicants totaling $100,000 in scholarships. The generous support of our members brings this program to life. With that said, the RSPA would like to thank Worldpay for their generous donation to the RSPA Scholarship fund.
“One of the most gratifying aspects of our community is hearing the personal stories shared by scholarship recipients. Each scholarship awarded has a unique impact on individuals and families. Worldpay’s support and generosity will create more special moments.”, said John Kirk, President & CEO of the RSPA.
“Worldpay is invested in the future development of highly-skill professionals because we’re focused on doing the right thing,” said Matt Downs, Head of Channel and Business Development at Worldpay. “By donating to the RSPA’s education scholarship, we’re helping our partners and their families succeed.”

About RSPA
The RSPA (Retail Solutions Providers Association) has been in existence for over 70 years. Began as the ICRDA (Independent Cash Register Dealers Association) and later merged with the SDA (Systems Dealer Association), creating a new association known as RSPA. The organization had always been a trade association dedicated to the point of sale industry with membership exclusively made up of POS resellers. Today, the RSPA has transitioned to an industry association including all stakeholders of retail technology, POS, and beyond.
