Turing AI’s mission is to reimagine safety, security, and retail operations with AI. We develop complex, deep-learning machine learning models to integrate with industry-proven robot, video analytics, and retail operations solutions to create interconnected AI-enabled IoT (Internet of Things) solutions unlike any other in the world.

Why did you join RSPA?
The benefits of joining RSPA speak for themselves. In addition to being the largest community of its kind, everyone in the industry knows of its sterling reputation. Our connection with RSPA grew organically at trade shows and it quickly became apparent that we had synergies in mission, strategy, and thought leadership between our organizations. We look forward to being a member of, and giving back to the RSPA community.

What are the core values of your company?
The core values that drive Turing are built upon our culture, which is to be Loving, Compassionate and to work with Integrity. Turing AI is technology powered by people. In our DNA we believe AI, Robotics, and Cloud Service will help the physical world become more productive.

What verticals do you serve?
Right now our main focus is developing AI solutions supporting the retail and hospitality verticals. We’ve had success serving the grocery, mass merchandise, and convenience markets. In the near future our plans are to also serve health & beauty, fashion, and malls.

What products/services do you provide?
Turing AI for Retail is our flagship product. Our award-winning AI focuses on driving business outcomes such as increasing sales revenue, customer retention, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency that help retailers maximize their ROI through optimizing store layout and product placement, generating anonymous shopper models – i.e., models that don’t rely on facial recognition – and queue management.

Name one fun fact that makes your company different from others.
Our company is named after Alan Turing, the father of Computer Science and AI.

What is the most encouraging thing you see for the future of the retail IT industry?
Retailers are being challenged to adopt innovations in customer processes, services, and experiences. The impact of machine learning AI on analytics can provide greater insights into collected data, allowing for smarter forecasting and reinvestment of productivity.
