What is the most encouraging thing you see for the future of the retail IT industry?|
With the advent of Covid, digital commerce jumped ahead five years in one. These changes are here to stay post-pandemic and businesses must adapt their old archaic systems to support the digital leap. In such a fast-changing and volatile environment, even established players struggle to keep up and constantly innovate.
Two fundamental shifts in behavior have happened over the past two years. Expectations have risen and acceptance levels of digital services across generations have followed suit. No one wants to wait in the queue at a supermarket anymore and self-checkout has become the norm. Businesses need the infrastructure to support this digitisation and Trust Payments is able to provide the tech making it easier for small or mid sized businesses to be empowered by data to drive loyalty and increase the lifetime value of their customers.
