Standard Insights – we are the developers of an AI as a Service analytics and marketing platform.  The business problem we solve is that we help companies around the globe and a variety of verticals leverage their first-party data to drive top and bottom-line growth.

Why did you join RSPA?
Networking – to help grow others and Standard Insights’ respective businesses. Developing force multiplier relationships are crucial for growth.

What are the core values of your company?
Hard work. Drive. Perseverance. Treat everyone (clients and employees) with respect.  Standard -established authority.  Insights- an understanding of relationships that helps solve a problem. Our mission is to be the global Standard on how successful businesses prioritize and execute their customer engagement from Insights gleaned from their data.

What verticals do you serve?
We can serve any vertical with sufficient data in their POS or ERP.  However, we are emphasizing the cannabis vertical.

What products/services do you provide?
Profitability scoring of customers. Macro and micro-level predictions of customer behavior. Inventory predictions. Creation and execution of data-driven omnichannel campaigns. AI-driven ordering platforms (via QR codes) that serve restaurants and retail. (We’ll “niche-out” our cannabis offering shortly). MVP software development. API integration services.

Name one fun fact that makes your company different from others.
Our co-founder/CMO used to work for an AI startup that failed.  Learning a lot from this experience and the future potential of AI, he met our co-founder/CTO through serendipitous events.  He was visiting Atlanta from India, where he used to live, and pitched our CMO an AI marketing prototype he had built to help businesses drive repeat buyers.  Knowing what our CMO learned from the last startup, he flew to Denver to the Outdoor Retail Show with a basic idea and walked the trade show floor.  Upon returning to Atlanta, he secured two beta clients and thus began the formation of Standard Insights.

What is the most encouraging thing you see for the future of the retail IT industry?
We feel that businesses are becoming conscious of being data-driven, especially after dealing with Covid, labor shortages, hyperinflation, and to some companies, massive layoffs.  Our messaging hasn’t changed from the beginning; however, “the light bulb went on” for many business leaders to incorporate AI in their arsenal to have a competitive advantage.
