What is the most encouraging thing you see for the future of the retail IT industry?
The events of 2020 show that the retail community is willing to come together and support each other, as there is renewed commitment to buying local and investing in Main Street. Emerging technology and solutions all bode well for the return of small business and the growth of retail via in-store and online channels. Small business is no longer constrained geographically, as the ability to sell nationwide (or even worldwide) has never been easier. And with the help of groups like RSPA, it will become less complicated in coming years. This provides tremendous opportunity for providers of money transfer, product fulfilment, and logistical solutions.
