DAVO is sales tax on autopilot. It integrates with popular cloud-based POS platforms to automatically set aside sales tax funds daily, then files and pays these funds to the state on behalf of the merchant, on-time and in-full.
Why did you join RSPA?
We want to work with RSPA to learn how best to help VARs understand the challenges of sales tax and pitch DAVO to their customers. We also want to integrate our system with new-to-us POS platforms to widen our base of available customers.
What are the core values of your company?
Our goal is to make sales tax management and payments something that just happens automatically in the background so that merchants don’t even have to think or worry about it.

DAVO is the only sales tax automation company to automatically separate merchants’ sales and sales tax funds on a daily basis, setting the sales tax funds into a separate, secure tax holding account.
How do you currently support the channel/what services do you provide to the channel?
DAVO is currently offered on the following POS platforms:

- Revel Systems
- Quickbooks Online
We provide regular training to sales and support folks at our POS partners and offer many tools to help these sales and support reps manage all of the sales tax needs and questions that come from their customers. Customers receive top-notch support from DAVO’s Maine-based team, which leads to high reviews on sites like Trustpilot.
What is the most encouraging thing you see for the future of the retail IT industry?
Cloud-based POS platforms like Clover, Toast, PAR Brink, Heartland, Square, Lightspeed, and others have been able to help merchants adapt to the crazy world of COVID by moving quickly to create and offer new tools, either directly or through 3rd parties. These new flexible POS platforms are great for business and we are excited to see how they grow and adapt to make shopping and business management easier than ever before.
