WINNIPEG, MB – We are happy to welcome Glenn to the Optima Family. Glenn brings to Optima over 35 years of experience in the cash register/POS industry, spending the last 26 years with Casio in various roles. Glenn will be heading up dealer sales for Optima in the US.
Glenn was attracted to the new Optima Android based Apos Series of POS products as the ideal replacements for the market vacated by Casio and Sharp these last few years. The product design (5 uniquely designed terminals), features, pricing, the ease of programming and local software development on the products made it an easy decision to join the Optima team along with knowing David and Jason Lee for many years.
The Apos Series was specifically designed for the small to mid-size retail and hospitality applications. Minimal training is required (Optima offers up to 2 hours of free online training for dealers), once one product is learned it is applied to the other 4 terminals since the software is the same in all terminals. A free back office makes it attractive for dealers that offers complete terminal programming and reporting.
