Star’s New Serial Cable Adaptor Connects Star Scanners to PC POS Systems

This helpful serial cable kit comes with everything needed to attach select Star barcode scanner models to POS systems built with personal computers.

This cable adaptor allows retailers and business owners using PCs as part of their POS systems to enjoy all the same features and benefits of Star scanners.

Thanks to its simplicity, the RS-232 standard has been commonly used in computer serial ports and is still widely used in industrial communication devices. With an ear always toward its audience, Star has now made it easy for anyone using a legacy POS system to attach Star’s desktop and handheld wired scanner models.
