Sous Chef is an AI platform that helps restaurants grow delivery sales across DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub. We uncover revenue opportunities, improve rankings, reduce operational issues, and deliver actionable recommendations. POS and hardware agnostic, Sous Chef works with any restaurant technology stack, creating measurable ROI for operators and resellers.

Why did you join RSPA?
We joined RSPA to build alongside the retail IT community that restaurants already rely on. Sous Chef is POS- and hardware-agnostic, so we complement the systems VARs and solution providers put in place rather than replace them. RSPA connects us with partners who share our focus on helping operators run better businesses, and RetailNOW showed us how much overlap there is between delivery performance and the point-of-sale work this community does every day. We see the association as the right place to grow those partnerships and learn from people serving retailers and restaurants.

What are the core values of your company?
Revenue First. Every recommendation is designed to drive measurable revenue or profitability for the restaurant. We focus on outcomes, not vanity metrics.

Simple. We turn complex third-party delivery data into clear, actionable insights that operators can understand and act on in minutes.

POS- and Hardware-Agnostic. We work alongside the systems operators already run. POS- and hardware-agnostic, no rip-and-replace, no new hardware, no change to operations.

Trusted Insights. Our recommendations are powered by order-level data from DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub, giving operators confidence to make better decisions.

Partnership Driven. We believe the best results come from working alongside POS providers, resellers, and delivery platforms to create more value for our mutual customers.

What verticals do you serve?
Restaurants running third-party delivery. Our core focus is full-service and quick-service operators generating meaningful off-premise sales across DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub.

We serve the full range, from independent single-unit restaurants to multi-unit franchise and enterprise restaurant groups managing hundreds of locations. The platform is POS- and hardware-agnostic, so it fits any stack an operator already runs.

Concept types include full-service dining, fast casual, quick service, and virtual and delivery-only brands. Any restaurant business where third-party delivery is a real and growing share of revenue is a fit for Sous Chef.

What products/services do you provide?
Sous Chef is an AI-powered third-party delivery optimization platform that helps restaurants grow sales across DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub. We connect directly to each platform’s reporting APIs and identify the highest-impact opportunities to improve visibility, increase conversion, and grow average order value.

Rather than overwhelming operators with dashboards, Sous Chef delivers clear, actionable recommendations in plain English, prioritized by expected revenue impact. Restaurants use Sous Chef to optimize menus, pricing, promotions, operations, and customer experience. On average, customers see approximately a 10% increase in third-party delivery sales.

We also offer OneTablet, our off-premise order management platform that consolidates orders from multiple delivery apps into a single tablet, and Sous Chef+, which combines both products. All of our solutions are POS and hardware agnostic, allowing restaurants to deploy quickly without changing their existing technology stack.

Name one fun fact that makes your company different from others.
Our name says the whole strategy. A sous chef is the person behind the scenes who preps, watches the line, and catches problems before they reach the plate. That is exactly what we do for delivery. We work quietly alongside the operator, catch issues before they cost sales, and make the whole operation run better without ever taking over the kitchen.

What is the most encouraging thing you see for the future of the retail IT industry?
Restaurants are finally treating delivery as a real part of the business, not a side channel. Operators already run serious systems for loyalty, inventory, and payroll, and they now expect the same rigor for delivery. That shift opens the door for the whole channel. Solution providers, POS vendors, and platforms all win when operators get tools that actually grow revenue. The most encouraging part is that the industry is moving from selling hardware to delivering measurable outcomes, and that is a better business for everyone in it.
