iCape helps retail technology partners grow existing accounts and win new retail customers. Our AI platform delivers powerful Loss Prevention and Retail Analytics solutions using retailers’ existing CCTV—giving partners a differentiated, low-friction offering that requires no camera replacement and can be sold and deployed remotely.
Why did you join RSPA?
As a partner-driven company, partnerships are at the heart of how iCape grows. After building our presence and working with retailers in markets in Europe, Africa, and Israel, we are now expanding our footprint in North America.
Joining RSPA was a natural stepת connecting us with retail technology partners who know the market, understand retailers’ needs, and can bring iCape’s solutions to their existing customers while opening doors to new ones.
What are the core values of your company?
Our core values reflect who we are and how we work:
* Retail Expertise & Professionalism:
We understand retail. We combine deep industry knowledge with a professional, hands-on approach to solving real retail challenges.
* Simplicity & Practicality:
Technology should make business easier, not more complicated. We focus on solutions that are practical, easy to deploy, and deliver real business value.
* True Partnership & Transparency:
We believe strong partnerships are built on openness, trust, and mutual success. We work transparently with our partners and support them in building long-term customer relationships.
* Partner Flexibility:
Every partner and every retail customer is different. We provide the flexibility to tailor the iCape offering to each opportunity – starting with the solutions that address the customer’s priorities and expanding as their needs evolve.
* Great Retail Technology for Every Tier:
We work with Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3 retailers because we believe great technology shouldn’t be limited to Tier-1.
We make advanced retail solutions practical and accessible to retailers across different tiers.

* Loss Prevention:
Go beyond POS data analytics by combining transaction data with AI-powered video analysis to detect and investigate suspicious POS activity. iCape helps Loss Prevention teams focus on the incidents that matter, investigate fraud faster, and reduce investigation workload by 80–90%.
* Footfall & Conversion Analytics:
Go beyond counting. Understand traffic, conversion, peak periods, and performance patterns to uncover missed opportunities and improve store performance – with data, analytics, and actionable insights.
* In-Store Analytics:
Uncover the hidden in-store sales levers. Understand where shoppers go, where they engage, and how they use the sales floor with heatmaps, dwell time, demographics, and area-level analytics – helping retailers unlock sales potential and improve sales floor operations.
* Queue Monitoring:
Reduce long queues and customer abandonment with in-depth queue measurement and predictive alerts that give store teams time to respond before waiting times become unacceptable.
All iCape’s solutions leverage retailers’ existing CCTV infrastructure – adding powerful AI capabilities without requiring retailers to replace their existing camera systems. Solutions can be deployed remotely, without requiring an on-site visit to the store.
Name one fun fact that makes your company different from others.
We intentionally started with the hard part.
iCape’s first deployments were in Africa, where infrastructure can be particularly challenging. We wanted to prove from day one that our technology could leverage what retailers already have, without requiring complex new hardware deployments. Our thinking was simple:
if we could make it work in Africa, we could make it work anywhere.
What is the most encouraging thing you see for the future of the retail IT industry?
What encourages us most about the future is that physical retail continues to grow and evolve alongside e-commerce, rather than being displaced by it.
We believe the next stage of this evolution will bring the best of e-commerce into the physical store: deeper measurement, better data, faster insights, and a much clearer understanding of shopper behavior and store performance.
The physical store has a strong future—and technology will play an increasingly important role in making it smarter, more measurable, and more effective.
