NCC Expands Dual Pricing Capabilities with Reflection POS Version 4.5.2.1

This latest version of NCC’s point of sale solution includes new features that support compliant dual pricing, surcharging, and cash discounting.

With merchants’ interest increasing in offsetting payment processing fees, NCC responded with a Reflection POS version that will help its Reseller partners provide solutions that enable merchants to execute these programs compliantly:

  • Dual Pricing: NCC Reseller partners can easily configure Reflection POS software with dual pricing to have a cash price and a card price. The software automatically calculates the price based on programmed percentage, adds it to the guest check and the transaction, and tracks for reporting.

Reflection POS helps merchants achieve compliant dual pricing with all required information on receipts and reports.

  • Surcharging: NCC’s partnership with Datacap gives customer bank identification number (BIN) lookup to ensure the customer’s payment card is a credit card eligible for surcharging, and not a stored-value or debit card.
  • Cash Discounting: NCC partners can configure Reflection POS with a standard price based on credit payments, and it will calculate a percentage cash discount, show the discount on the receipt, and track discounts for reporting.
