iPayment Names Philip Ragona Executive Vice President and General Counsel

Ragona rejoins company, focused on leveraging his vast experience across corporate law, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions to fuel company's growth.

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA “ iPayment, Inc., a trusted provider of payment and processing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), announced that Philip Ragona has rejoined the company as Executive Vice President and General Counsel and a member of the company’s Management Committee. He previously served as iPayment’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel from April 2012 through May 2015.

Since June 2015, he has held the position of Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Lighting Science Group, a global leader in next-generation LED lighting solutions. Mr. Ragona spent his first 10 years in private practice in New York, beginning as an Associate with Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP from 1992 to 1995, and then as an Associate with Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP from 1995 to 2002. In 2002, he was named Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Atrium Corporation, the largest manufacturer of residual vinyl and aluminum windows and doors in North America, a role he held until he first joined iPayment in 2012.
