CHAPP Version 4.1.1 Offers New Features for Hospitality Market, Quick Service Industry, Retail and More!

DOVER, NJ – Casio America, Inc. is excited to announce that the latest version of CHAPP, Casio’s Hospitality Application point-of-sale (POS) software, is now available. Strategically designed for the hospitality market, table and quick service, and retail industries, CHAPP version 4.1.1 is available in the U.S. and Canada. The software is designed to operate on Casio’s Android™-based V-R200, V-R7000 and V-R7100 touchscreen terminals.

CHAPP version 4.1.1 offers a variety of features and interfaces that enable cashiers to work with ease. Features include Eat-in/Take-out subtotal keys, automatic Price Shift condiment on set item which allows the register to adjust pricing of additional food items automatically, as well as Auto Gratuity Printing on Guest Check Receipt and more! The updated software incorporates set key and menus with everyday customer-facing processes. Similar to the original software, the companion mobile app will run on any Android tablet using version 5.0 or higher. Casio Mobile Order (or CMO) is the Company’s mobile application and also provides operators the ability to take orders at tables on the restaurant floor. Upon saving the order, the information is immediately transferred to the register in use and routed to the various printers in the system. Additional features include multiple graphical table maps, splitting checks and items, transferring checks, time and attendance, a biometric interface for fingerprint recognition, among others.

The V-R200, V-R7000 and V-R7100 are Android-based POS terminals highlighted by a 15.6” wide touchscreen in a thin ergonomically-designed cabinet and pedestal. These terminals are designed without a fan, hard disk drive or any movable components to ensure store operations by eliminating common hardware problems business owners can experience with traditional PC-based hardware.
