The changes will take effect on January 1, 2026, although some transition has already begun.
Manel Baranera has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) in a global capacity, transitioning from his role as EU COO. Manel will now oversee IT, Purchasing, Operations, and Legal, bringing his strategic insight and operational excellence to a broader scope of responsibilities. Manel will be instrumental in aligning BlueStar’s operational capabilities with its aggressive growth ambitions while maintaining exceptional operational efficiency.
Dean Reverman has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Dean has led BlueStar’s global marketing strategies and is responsible for the integrated approach and development of BlueStar’s advertising, public relations, channel product marketing, marketing intelligence and research, creative services, and digital marketing efforts, as well as vendor relationship management and marketing. Dean’s creativity and vision will be instrumental as we continue to elevate our brand and market presence worldwide.
Missie Bolen has been promoted to Chief People Officer (CPO), a global role, following her tenure as VP of Human Resources. Missie’s leadership and dedication to our people will continue to shape our culture and talent strategy across all regions. Missie will play a crucial role in shaping BlueStar’s people strategy to support a dynamic, global organization that is respected across the channel for its high-performing workforce.
Rob Dorsey has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales. He will also assume the responsibilities of VP of Business Development, a role previously held by Mike Byington, who will retire on December 31, 2025. In his new role, Rob will lead the sales strategy and execution across the United States, managing key accounts and driving revenue growth. Rob’s leadership and experience will be key to our continued growth and the evolution of our sales and business development strategies.
Jim Walsh will transition from VP of Purchasing to VP of Supply Chain, where he will lead several key initiatives, including our tariff response and disaster recovery planning. Drawing on his extensive experience in supply chain management, Jim will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive innovation, mitigate risks, and support BlueStar’s growth objectives.
Steve Becker has been promoted from Director of Purchasing to VP of Purchasing, bringing a strong foundation and deep understanding of our sourcing strategies to his new role. He will oversee all procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and timely delivery of products and services throughout the organization.
