Please provide a description of your company in 50 words or less.
Innovative Technology has been manufacturing currency handling equipment for over 30 years. Our Age & Identity verification division provides facial analysis technology to enable the retailer to deploy accurate age checks, display targeted advertisements and collate customer demographics.

Why did you join RSPA?
We decided to join RSPA because it’s clear that this is where the entire retail technology community comes together. Last July was our first time attending the show, we were struck by how many of our key partners, customers, and contacts were involved. It felt like everyone we work with, or should be working with, was already there. That made it obvious that we needed to be part of it as well. At Innovative Technology, we are putting serious investment into hardware and software with the goal of leading the retail automation space, and being part of RSPA gives us the right platform to do that

What are the core values of your company?
As a company we believe in innovation, collaboration, respect and drive.

will achieve more.
We support our people and their best interests and give constructive feedback and praise, based
on merit.
We always assume positive intent and we don’t let our egos and pride get in the way of good ideas.

We work with passion to provide the best product and service at the best price.
We want the best for the business, our teams and ourselves – we do not settle for mediocracy.

What verticals do you serve?
Our focus is first and foremost on retail. We provide cash recycling solutions and biometric authentication ( age verification) that are used in grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants, specialty retailers, and large retail chains, really any environment where cash is handled and efficiency matters. Outside of retail, our technology is also a great fit for financial services, hospitality, vending and gaming, where secure and automated payment processes are critical. We also work closely with integrators, OEMs, and solution providers, which allows our products to reach across multiple industries. The NV4000, our new note recycler, is a great example, it’s built to be the go-to solution for retailers because it combines speed, reliability, and security in a way that truly impacts day to day operations.

What products/services do you provide?
We design and manufacture currency handling equipment such as bill validators and recyclers and multi-coin hoppers all designed to generate cost efficiencies for the retail industry. Our facial analysis technology enables the retailer to deploy accurate age checks, display targeted advertisements and collate customer demographics.

Name one fun fact that makes your company different from others.
A fun fact about our company is that our founder, David Bellis, started it with a very simple but powerful idea: make cash handling technology affordable and accessible, without sacrificing quality. That mindset is still alive and well in everything we do. While a lot of companies in this space tend to push high-end pricing, we’ve always focused on delivering top performance at a fair cost. That approach has helped us grow worldwide, but we’ve kept a strong team culture that values collaboration and practical innovation. We also like to think of ourselves as more than a hardware provider, we combine things like face biometrics with our automation solutions so retailers get tools that are not only powerful but future ready.

What is the most encouraging thing you see for the future of the retail IT industry?
What excites us most is how retail is evolving beyond just selling products. Stores are becoming ecosystems where you can buy goods, use services, and even access financial tools. That shift opens up big opportunities for technology providers to support retailers in new ways. We see automation and biometrics playing a huge role in that future. Cash handling isn’t going away, it’s still a backbone of retail, but it needs to be faster, more secure, and more efficient. At the same time, biometrics will make everyday transactions safer and more convenient. Seeing those two worlds come together is encouraging because it means the industry is headed toward more seamless, customer-focused experiences. With solutions like our NV4000 recycler, we’re committed to being part of that transformation.
