An RSPA Award of Excellence is an honor given to a vendor by their resellers and is highly coveted in the retail technology industry. RSPA Awards of Excellence are the only awards in the industry where resellers can actually vote for their favorite vendors in six categories; Hardware Manufacturer, Software Application Developer, Technology Distributor, Payment Processor, Customer/Reseller Support and Consumables/Supplies Provider. The vendor with the best overall score in all categories will receives the Gold Medallion RSPA Award of Excellence. |

RSPA and Vertical Systems Reseller, VSR, teamed up in 2008 to present the Innovative Solution Awards. The Innovative Solution Awards will be given to those nominated companies that have created a dynamic solution in their respective market; Credit Card Processing, Family/Fine Dining, In-Store Customer Touch Point, ISV/VAR Collaboration, Quick Service/Fast Casual, Specialty Retail, and Supermarket. |

Initiated in 2008, RSPA will annually induct at least one individual into the Retail Technology Industry Hall of Fame. Hall of Fame inductees are individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the Retail Technology Industry over the course of their entire career. They should have also conducted their career with the highest levels of professionalism. These contributions can effect reseller and vendor companies and/or the entire industry. Curt Kennington, pictured right, is RSPA's first Hall of Fame inductee. |

Recipients of this award have earned the gratitude and highest esteem of their fellow resellers for their dedicated service in working towards providing an understanding of the roles of association members, and their leadership in accomplishing those goals.
