This June, Discover® surveyed 3500+ small and medium businesses (SMBs) about EMV readiness. Results concluded there is a general lack of EMV awareness: 60% of SMBs are unfamiliar with EMV and 70% of SMBs stated they have not received education on EMV.[1] VARs play a critical role in educating SMBs as the industry continues to migrate to EMV. Joe joined Ingram Micro in 1994 and has held a number of positions within the sales organization including inside sales, sales manager, business development manager, and senior market development manager. He also served as a Channel Account Manager with Global Knowledge working with NSP and DMR partners to build their IT Training practices. Buonocore resides in Williamsville, New York and earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting and management from St Bonaventure University.
