RSPA's Write's Guide & Agreement
Mission Statement:
Through our publications, connect and juice-news, RSPA strives to pass along essential industry information that educates and empowers our readers to reach their full business potential.
Submitting Articles:
Please submit articles via e-mail, preferably in Microsoft Word format. We encourage the accompaniment of photographs if the pictures are relevant to the article content. Submit articles to Publications@GoRSPA.org.
Guest Writers:
If you are a guest writer for connect and/or juice-news, along with your article please attach a high resolution picture of yourself along with a brief bio. We will include this information with your article.
Deadlines:
connect and juice e-news content is due on the date specified in the 2009/2010 RSPA Media Kit. If you should need an extension, please contact RSPA Corporate Communications, 704.940.4274, before the original deadline.
Review Process:
Once connect and/or juice e-news receives an article for publication, it will run at a time and place of its own choosing. Editors reserve the right to edit all articles for consistency, clarity and style. The editors make every effort to work closely with the authors during the editing process.
Copyright:
connect and juice e-news uses only original work and work published by our publishing partners. The author is entirely responsible for submitting original work and for the accuracy of all material submitted, including names, places, references, facts and quotations. connect reserves the right to copyright all published material. Every author writing for connect should fully understand the definition and repercussions of plagiarism.
Plagiarism:
The unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work. This includes any articles found on the internet.
As a writer for connect, you must understand:
• Plagiarism constitutes theft and fraud
• The definitions of plagiarism, quotation, paraphrase, and source knowledge
• Copying words from the internet without crediting the sources constitutes plagiarism
• Plagiarism is a violation of connects integrity and will not be tolerated
