Individual Certificate Programs

Sales Specialist | Support Specialist | PCIwise

For individuals who wish to credential their professional skills, RSPA currently has three certificate programs: Support Specialist, Sales Specialist, and PCIwise. PCIwise is available for RSPA members and their customers.

The Sales Specialist certificate is aimed at sales professionals who are capable of identifying, managing, and closing Point of Sale and other retail technology opportunities with the appropriate hardware, software and service solutions.

The Support Specialist certificate focuses on staff who install, resolve end-user hardware or software technology problems, or provide end-user training.

PCIwise for Retail Technology Providers is an online certificate program developed by RSPA to ensure that our members have an understanding of the best practices relating to Payment Card Industry data security practices, and is part of the RSPA Certification Program. The PCIwise series of courses have been created to develop your role as a trusted advisor. 

Some of the PCIwise courses are appropriate to share with your end users and customer prospects. The courses provide education on the overall payment processing ecosystem: payment processing retail technology, ongoing support and administration for a PCI compliant system and in-store environment.
